The police play basketball from 12-2PM at Battle Creek Rec Center on Tuesdays and are open to having anyone from the Fire Department that wants to play to join in.  It is pick-up basketball so no need to have a team, just show up and play.  Obviously, this supports health and wellness but Rec Center programing usually starts at 2:00 PM so there might be an opportunity for positive interactions with police and fire as youth come into the space for programing.
